Sunshine Coast RCMP arrested six men on outstanding warrants between March 27 and 28 on charges out of three Lower Mainland jurisdictions, including the Sunshine Coast, Surrey and New Westminster.
Dylan Coulson, 30, and Nicholas Bouthiette, 31, were both charged for uttering threats and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose following an incident that occurred in Gibsons on Feb. 13.
Cpl Steve Chubey, media spokesperson for Sunshine Coast RCMP said Coulson was arrested near his residence in Gibsons on March 27, while Bouthiette turned himself to police in Sechelt on March 28 at the suggestion of police, after warrants were issued for failing to attend court.
On the morning of March 28, RCMP arrested Kodi Allen, 20, of Gibsons at his residence for three outstanding warrants out of Sechelt, stemming from 12 criminal charges, including five counts of theft under $5,000, five counts of possession of stolen property and two counts of breach of undertaking.
Also on the morning of March 28 RCMP arrested Tyler Treherne, 31, during a traffic stop near Halfmoon Bay, after receiving a tip that Treherne may be residing on the Sunshine Coast.
Treherne had been named one of Vancouver's 'three most wanted' on March 17, having three outstanding warrants out of Surrey and New Westminster for seven charges, including break and enter, forcible confinement, uttering a forged document, fraud, identify theft and two counts of driving while prohibited, said Chubey. Treherne was arrested without incident.
Finally in the afternoon of March 28 just after 1 p.m., RCMP arrested Harley Joe, 27, of Sechelt for an outstanding warrant for two counts of failure to comply with a probation order, and then arrested Cory Moller, 23, of Langdale for disobeying a court order. Moller was located in downtown Sechelt and arrested without incident, said Chubey.
