Two people were airlifted to Vancouver General Hospital and Highway 101 was closed for a short time after a single car accident near Trout Lake Road, Thursday, Oct. 1.
Sunshine Coast RCMP say they responded to a single-vehicle roll over just after 11 a.m. On their arrival they found a 1995 Suzuki Sidekick upside down in the ditch on the West side of the road.
The driver of the vehicle was unhurt, but two passengers were transported to Vancouver by air ambulance to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
RCMP are still working to find the cause of the accident.
