Join the Sunshine Coast Conservation Association (SCCA) as it once again hosts the Green Issues Forum.

Join the Sunshine Coast Conservation Association (SCCA) as it once again hosts the Green Issues Forum.

The forum has become a tradition with the SCCA during civic election years, where they invite candidates and offer the public an opportunity to discuss and consider the environmental issues of the day.

Questions ranging from watershed management and protection to sustainability, waste management and the protection of biodiversity are being sent with an invitation to all mayoral and Sunshine Coast Regional District candidates to take a seat at the front table. All candidates are encouraged to send the SCCA their responses to the questions, which in turn will be posted on the SCCA website at www.thescca.ca.

The Green Issues Forum for Gibsons and adjacent rural areas will be held at the Gibsons & Area Community Centre on Thursday, Nov. 3, at 7 p.m. Michael Maser will act as moderator for the Gibsons event.

The forum for Sechelt and adjacent rural areas will be held at the Seaside Centre on Monday, Nov. 7, at 7 p.m. Bruce Milne will be moderator for this evening's forum.
