Sunshine Coast Conservation Association is proud to be part of this year's Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup, presented by Loblaw Companies Limited.

The SCCA will be co-ordinating clean up activities along the Davis Bay shoreline, on Saturday, Sept. 10.

Most shoreline litter comes from land and land-based activities. By signing up, you are taking action to help keep our waters healthy for everyone, including the wildlife and the communities that depend on them. Last year more than 47,000 Canadians picked up 98,000 kg of litter.

The clean up will kick off at 10 a.m. Look for the SCCA volunteers by the Davis Bay pier. All ages are welcome, so bring your children, your friends, your parents, but most important -make sure to come. If you can, bring a pair of work gloves with you. Garbage bags will be provided.
