The Rotary Club of Pender Harbour presented a cheque for $10,000 in support of the Pender Harbour Ocean Discovery Station (PODS) project. It was one of the largest donations in the club’s history.

Pender Rotary Club also helped the Society for RCM-SAR Unit 61 kick off its fundraising program for a replacement vessel for the Iona C based in Pender Harbour. Rotary District 5040 governor Don Evans was on hand as the club presented a cheque for $5,000.
