RCMP seeking dashcam footage after weekend incidents – including of pedestrian struck in Madeira Park

Sunshine Coast RCMP are looking for dashcam footage of a couple of incidents over the Thanksgiving long weekend. 

On Oct. 8 at about 11:46 a.m. the RCMP responded to a single-vehicle collision on Highway 101 in Halfmoon Bay. It involved a 2013 Piaggio Motorcycle travelling east bound when it veered off the road, said the RCMP press release. The police are requesting anyone with a dashcam driving on the highway between Iska Road and Donley Drive and who may have witnessed the incident to reach out to them. 

On Oct. 9 at about 8:30 p.m., the RCMP responded to a pedestrian struck in the Johnstone Road area of Highway 101 in Madeira Park. The police are requesting anyone with a dashcam driving between Parkview Road and Narrows Road and who may have witnessed the incident to reach out.
