The Sunshine Coast RCMP are looking for information about a hit and run incident in Gibsons.
Around 7:40 a.m. on Nov. 1, a vehicle struck a Toyota Sienna while driving north on North Road near Kiwanis Way, a press release from the RCMP said.
The driver of the first vehicle reported a dark SUV or mini van tried to pass him on his passenger side, in the bike lane portion of the road, but struck the rear of his vehicle. The Toyota Sienna spun out of control. The driver of the other vehicle was reported to be driving erratically and did not stop at the scene.
The release states there will be significant damage to the front side of the second vehicle, which witnesses believe is a dark van or older model Nissan Pathfinder, possibly black or dark grey.
