On Sunday, Aug. 11, RCMP were dispatched to an abandoned vehicle that was reportedly blocking a driveway access on Mason Road, north of Reeves Road.

"Police discovered that the vehicle, a red 1999 Volkswagen Jetta, was one of three that had been reported stolen on Aug. 1," said Cpl. Steve Chubey in a news release. "Police noted that the door lock and ignition had been punched. The vehicle was towed from the scene and has been seized for processing by the RCMP's Forensic Identification Section."
