Update Jan. 11: Papers have been delivered to all boxes in Pender Harbour and Egmont, except the box at Martin and Francis Peninsula. Extra papers were left in the box on Murdoch.
Because of weather and resulting challenging road conditions, please note that the print edition of Coast Reporter has had some delays in distributing our Friday, Jan. 7 edition.
A good chunk of Lower Gibsons to Port Mellon, Egmont and parts of Garden Bay did not receive papers on Friday.
By Sunday evening, papers had been delivered to all boxes in Gibsons except Owen Road, off Trant. However, there are extra papers in the box on Marine Drive and Trant.
Much of Pender Harbour got their papers Sunday but Garden Bay boxes will not be filled until Monday because of road conditions. Boxes in Egmont and Earls Cove will be filled Monday.
The safety of our drivers and other road users is our primary concern.
We will update if any significant delays are anticipated as weather circumstances unfold.
