Sunshine Coast RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a stolen Nissan Versa bearing the B.C. licence plate number 902WLL.
The vehicle was stolen from a residence on Fairway Avenue in Sechelt while the owners slept, RCMP said in a release Tuesday. The suspect is believed to have entered through an unlocked side door, entered into the main house, removed car keys from a key hook and then opened the garage door and drove away northbound on Fairway Avenue.
Police released a photo of a similar make, model and colour, though not the exact vehicle that was stolen.
Anyone spotting this vehicle is asked not to approach but to call police. File number 2018-8144 relates.
