A pile of refuse including remnants of crab traps, two bicycles and three shopping carts was retrieved from the ocean floor and placed on Sechelt’s Friendship Park pedestrian pier last weekend.

A pile of refuse including remnants of crab traps, two bicycles and three shopping carts was retrieved from the ocean floor and placed on Sechelt’s Friendship Park pedestrian pier last weekend. Sechelt spokesperson Julie Rogers was unaware of who recovered the material and placed it on the pier. Municipal staff hauled it away midday on Aug. 23.
