A person of interest has been identified and the investigation is on-going into a robbery Monday at the Petro-Can station in Gibsons.
The Sunshine Coast RCMP serious crime unit is heading the investigation.
According to police, a non-Sunshine Coast resident was arrested this, but later released with no charges being laid. Another suspect has since been identified by police, although an arrest has not been made.
On May 25, police responded to the reported armed robbery where a lone male wearing a black mask and brandishing a large knive stole approximately $350 in cash before fleeing the area on foot.
