Effective June 4, BC Ferries Horseshoe Bay long-term parking is being upgraded from a pay-and-display to a pay-by-stall system to allow customers a more convenient way to pay for parking.
How pay-by-stall works:
Note your parking stall number, then proceed to one of the five available service stations. Enter the stall number and purchase time and keep your receipt.
Unlike pay-and display, the customer no longer has to return to their vehicle to display their receipt on the dashboard. If a customer needs to extend their time they can call the telephone number on the receipt and adjust their time following the on-line instructions.
According to BC Ferries, this upgraded system will take effect in the parkade for long-term parking only.
For further information see www.bcferries.com or call 1-888-223-3779.
Exit ramp lane closure
BC Ferries wishes to advise the public that the two-lane exit/loading ramp from the top transfer deck will be reduced to one lane between May 22 and June 19 to complete ramp concrete structural repairs at the Horseshoe Bay terminal.
Please follow the direction of staff to ensure safe and efficient movement around the terminal.
While BC Ferries will make every effort to ensure schedules are not impacted by this construction, minor delays may occur. BC Ferries would like to thank its customers for their patience and understanding as we complete this necessary work.
