Don't be disappointed by delaying getting your tickets to the historical fashion show presented by the Sunshine Coast Museum and Archives Society. The Ivan Sayers show was a sell-out when he was last on the Coast several years ago. Sayers began to collect costumes, based on his parents' small collection, when he was a boy.

He established his first museum in the family garage when he was 13 years old. Throughout school and university he continued to improve his collection and produced his first public exhibition in 1969. His fashion shows provide an amusing and eye-opening look into the lives of our forebearers. Tickets are $20 and are available at the Sunshine Coast Museum and Coast Books in Gibsons and at Talewind Books in Sechelt. This enlightening show is on Saturday, May 7, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Sechelt Seniors' Centre.
