Quantum Consciousness Forum will hold its next event in the regular continuing series at 7 p.m. on Feb. 8 at St. Hilda's Anglican Church in Sechelt.

It will be an intuitive empowerment workshop led by psychic counsellor and author, Natasha Rosewood. "This mini-experiential workshop will help you to connect to your intuitive wisdom and surrender to a deeper relationship with self," said Rosewood in describing the program. "It aims to inspire a higher awareness of Spirit."

Author of Aaagh! I Think I'm Psychic (And You Can Be Too), Rosewood has a growing international following inspired by her workshops, newspaper articles and television appearances and personal counselling. Admission is by suggested donation of $5 or more to cover costs. Quantum Consciousness will also present a special introductory workshop, Mind Over Matrix, on Monday, Feb. 6, from 6 to 9:30 p.m. This program is an introduction to a five-day intensive workshop to be held at the church March 30 to April 4 (except Sunday), by Bret Treadwell. The Mind Over Matrix program utilizes an autobiographical feedback (ABF) system to reprogram the conscious and subconscious mind, a technique that has caught the attention of some of the leading edge spiritual teachers and thinkers, including Deepak Chopra and Wayne Dyer. Net proceeds from the $20 suggested donation for the introductory workshop will be donated to the Sunshine Coast Habitat for Humanity project. Looking ahead to future Quantum Consciousness programs, a screening of the acclaimed movie, Scared Sacred, by Velcrow Ripper is planned for Feb. 22. Future events scheduled for the regular second and fourth Wednesdays of each month include other inspirational film presentations, spiritually deepening practices involving meditation, movement and chanting holistic health, and another crystal bowl toning concert.
