The Queen of Surrey is running approximately 35 minutes late due to an earlier medical emergency Monday morning, June 15.

According to B.C. Ferries spokesperson Deborah Marshall, an employee on the vessel experienced chest pains and an ambulance was called to take the employee off the vessel and to hospital. Another employee had to be called in, which resulted in the delay.
