Roberts Creek is a unique community, but what makes it unique? How did it become what it is today? What does it mean to the people who have lived on the land and been a part of the community for generations? What does it mean to people who have recently joined the community?

The Roberts Creek Community Asso-ciation is embarking on a special project aimed at building community in celebration of its roots and its future. The project will consist of two parts. The first is a photographic exhibit and historical signage to be assembled for presentation during Creek Daze on Aug. 23. The second is a documentary and book elaborating on information and stories gathered during interviews that will take place from now until early July. Co-ordinators D'Arcy Davis-Case and Serena Eades are seeking volunteers to be interviewed and to conduct interviews, so if you have stories, photographs, music, film, insights, thoughts, contact them at 604-886-5999 or 604-741-2935 or through email at [email protected] or [email protected].
