If you love to garden and want to know how to get loads of great gardening information from the Internet, the free program at the Gibsons Public Library is for you.

On Wednesday, Feb. 9, at 7 p.m. local gardener and computer-wise guy Harry Hill will show you some exceptional sites to visit. Peruse on-line seed catalogues, visit public gardens around the world, discover hard-to-find gardening books, get up-to-date information on native plants or newly available cultivars, read horticultural tips and gardening magazines and more. Participants will receive a printout of choice websites to visit and learn how to subscribe to (and unsubscribe from) specialty Internet mail lists.

This is the third of four free programs offered jointly by the Sunshine Coast Botanical Garden Society and the Gibsons Public Library as part of the library's 90th birthday celebrations.

In March, the Keeping Sharp program will be a demonstration of hand tool sharpening.
