Local businessman Kevin Davie has been elected director of the British Columbia Lung Association. Davie has been a part of the organization for the past two years. He first came to the association as a representative from the Sechelt Rotary club. Davie's main duty as a director is to be the eyes and ears of the Lung Association in our community.

The B.C. Lung Association works to improve lung health across the province through research, education and support for people with respiratory disease.

While the annual Christmas Seals are the main fund-raiser for the association, the group also sells golf cards, which are good for special discounts at Sunshine Coast Golf and Country Club, Sechelt Golf and Country Club and the Pender Harbour Golf Club.

The cards cost $35 plus GST each. They are available by email at [email protected].
