It could be another rough Friday for B.C. Ferry travellers.
The Queen of Coquitlam is experiencing problems with one of its engines, meaning all sailings today (Friday, June 25) will be longer as only one of the vessels engine will be in use.
The crossing, which normally takes 40 minutes, could take 50 to 55 minutes.
B.C. Ferries say the engine can be fixed and will be fixed following the last scheduled sailing of the day. B.C. Ferries expects no further issues with any sailings on Saturday.
Those travelling between Langdale and Horseshoe Bay today are advised to check out www.bcferries.com for the latest and up to date sailing times.
