The Sunshine Coast RCMP are investigating a theft of 25 prawn traps from near the north end of the Trails Islands, near Sechelt.
Believed to be stolen between May 29 and 30, the nesting prawn traps with stainless steel frames and black mesh were taken along with their line and buoys.
The traps have green tags with the number 24312, and floats with boat number 310580. The traps are 86 centimeters (34 inches) in diameter.
The RCMP asks anyone with information to contact them at 604-885-2266.
