Hackett Park in Sechelt was the staging point on Aug. 8 for the 58th annual Sleepy Hollow Rod Run, hosted by Coasters Car Club. Led by the RCMP, close to 400 classic vehicles left the park in a carefully organized procession and headed up the highway, around Redrooffs Road and back. Hundreds of spectators lined the route to cheer. The following day, the cars were on display in downtown Sechelt at the Show & Shine, and many took part in the drag races on Sunday at Sechelt airport.
