Coast Reporter received a pair of national advertising and production awards on Wednesday at the 2013 Great Ideas Awards were announced by the Canadian Community Newspaper Association.
Designer Eric Pinfold won gold for the Horizons business section while associate publisher and Coast Life editor Cathie Roy and ad designer Pinfold won silver for Coast Life Magazine, Spring 2012.
The annual awards program honours outstanding advertising and promotional campaigns produced by daily and community newspapers from across the country. This year, 51 newspapers submitted 260 entries in seven distinct award categories.
