Coast branch holds poster contest

The Sunshine Coast Branch of the B.C. Schizophrenia Society is pleased to announce that the entry forms for the annual poster, poetry, prose and PSA video contest are now available at all secondary schools, as well as public libraries.

The Sunshine Coast Branch of the B.C. Schizophrenia Society is pleased to announce that the entry forms for the annual poster, poetry, prose and PSA video contest are now available at all secondary schools, as well as public libraries.

This contest is open to all secondary school students on the Sunshine Coast. The deadline for entries is April 15.

Contest winners in 2004 were as follows: first prize winners, Britne Linden, Elphi (prose essay); Rebecca Gordon, Chat (poster); Colin Nebocat, Elphi (computer generated poster) and Quincy Samycia, Elphi (PSA 30 sec. video).

Second prize winners: Chloe Giguere, Chat (poster); Shaun Georgison, Lachlin Rand and Kenny Daniel, Pender team (PSA 30 sec. video).

First prize in each category is $100, second prize $50.

All other entrants receive a pair of theatre tickets courtesy of Raven's Cry Theatre and Gibsons Cinemas.

This year's theme is "We'd like to change your mind."
