Apparently the sun this week was too good to last.

Environment Canada says to expect "a wintery mixture of precipitation" this afternoon and evening as a Pacific frontal system comes to B.C.'s south coast. There's a snowfall warning in effect for the entire Sunshine Coast with flurries expected to start Friday afternoon, with periods of wet snow and rain, turning to rain by Saturday morning. The nighttime low is 1 C.

Local snowfall expected in Sechelt is 2 to 4 centimetres.

There's also a wind warning in effect with winds expected at 70 gusting 90 km/h Saturday morning.
