Sunshine Coast RCMP is investigating the theft of a 24-foot Bayliner boat and a Magnum boat trailer, which they believe may be related.
On Oct. 23 RCMP received two theft complaints in the 5700 block of Wharf Road in Sechelt, believed to have occurred sometime between Oct. 17 and 23.
"The Magnum boat trailer, which was parked in a lot across the street of the marina, is described as having a new black axle, new white fenders, rims, and new tires," said Cpl. Steve Chubey in a news release. "The boat, which was moored at the Lighthouse Pub and Marina, is described as a 24-foot Bayliner cabin cruiser, model 2455, white with tan canvas top."
