BC Ferries is the presenting sponsor of this year's BC Bike Race, which is bringing cyclists from throughout the world to B.C. to compete in a seven-day staged mountain bike race.
The BC Bike Race begins on Vancouver Island on Saturday , June 29 and continues through the Sunshine Coast on July 2, 3, 4 before ending in Whistler on Saturday, July 6. On Thursday, July 4, expect heavy traffic at the Langdale terminal. The overflow parking lot will be used as the finish line for the fifth day of racing for the 550 participants competing in this year's BC Bike Race.
Racers are expected to travel on the 1:05 and the 3:25 p.m. sailings from Langdale.
