Last year, Feso's infectious Afrobeat music and dance from Zimbabwe mesmerized and uplifted the audience at The Club.

Don't miss their return concert, featuring special guest dancer from Cameroon, Jacky Essombe, presented by Caravan World Rhythms on May 27.

Doors open at 7:30 and the show starts at 8 p.m.

There's no choice but to move to Feso's visual and musical experience. Lose yourself in the colourful fabrics, mesmeric grooves and high-energy African beats of this five-piece ensemble.

Feso's core hails from Zimbabwe, ensuring a thick fusion of Shona traditions within a contemporary platform. Feso blasts choppy chimurenga rhythms, tight harmonies and a gourd of drums, mbiras, hoshos and marimbas. The pace never lets up throughout the evening, and the grooves are deep and long - evoking timeless landscapes of savannah and forest. This concert is great for all ages. Michael at The Club will serve up the usual delicious appetizers and desserts. Tickets are $15 adults/$8 children (12 and under) and free for pre-school kids and babies. Tickets are available at Gaia's Fair Trade Gifts (Gower Point Road, Gibsons), Roberts Creek Health Food Store and Ashley's Records and Books in Sechelt.
