Three-fifths of the band Tube Radio played for a lively audience of singers and dancers at Christenson Village in Gibsons last Saturday, (from left): Brent Fitzsimmons, Ian McLatchie and Gary McGuire, while staff served up a huge buffet of lunch treats along with a fruit and cream cake. The occasion was a thank you to the many volunteers who assist residents in daily living or by their music and entertainment. Activities coordinator Bruce Devereux said some of the volunteers have been helping out since the complex was first built 10 years ago.
