Finding Vivian Maier
The incredible story of the discovery of “photographer’s photographer” Vivian Maier and her spellbinding work is encapsulated in Finding Vivian Maier, showing this Sunday, Feb. 15 at 2 p.m. at the Sechelt Seniors Activity Centre. Little known until after her death, the quiet, almost reclusive Maier has gained an international following for her brilliant body of work, after a box of her negatives was bought in an auction lot sale in Chicago. The public is welcome to attend this stellar documentary, hosted by the Sunshine Coast Film Society. See www.scfs.ca for more details.
