The first-ever Sunshine Coast ukulele camp was a resounding success, with beach time, original songs, and a concert for friends and families.
Kids between the ages of eight and 14 gathered at Laurel Canyon Studio in Davis Bay on Monday and by Friday had learned a few basic chords, co-written three songs and held a concert.
Ukulele Camp was one of a series of four sold-out week-long music camps held this summer by musician Steve Wright as part of his popular Sound Studio programs.
