The Tiller's Folly, that most quintessential of Canadian West Coast acoustic bands, combines an amalgam of Celtic, bluegrass and folk laced with a touch of country and rock to become Canadiana roots music saturated in deep Pacific brine. Performing since 1996 at fairs, festivals, concerts, schools and special events throughout Canada and the U.S., they have captivated audiences with their exceptional musicianship, high energy, and passion. They bring Pacific Northwest culture and heritage to life in the stories they tell about uniquely Canadian people and events. And they are quickly becoming one of Canada's most in-demand groups.

The Tiller's Folly plays Pender Harbour on May 14 at 8 p.m.

Bassist Laurence Knight, champion fiddler Nolan Murray and Eric Reed on mandolin, slide guitar and dobro round out the talent fest. All are accomplished musicians individually, and together they are unbeatable.
