Olafson choice
Nice to hear that of the many great entries for Gibsons musician Lowry Olafson's offer of a free ThemeShop song writing session for a non-profit group, the winner is from the Coast.
Jessy Kraus entered on behalf of the Arbutus Sounds Chorus - the Sun-shine Coast Chapter of Sweet Adelines Inter-national. This is a world-wide organization that brings music into the lives of many people. They plan to use their song as a marketing tool to increase membership, heighten people's awareness of the great work they do and strengthen bonds between members.
Olafson notes that clearly this is a group whose song will get a lot of use, and with four-part barbershop harmonies, he can hardly wait to hear it! Watch for it at ThemeShop.ca in the coming months.
