At a meeting of the Sunshine Coast Writers and Editors on May 28, the group’s members launched a countdown to the group’s second-annual Art and Words Festival.
The event, scheduled to take place from Aug. 10 to 13 at the Gibsons Public Market, will include presentations by more than 40 writers and artists. The randomly-paired creators are collaborating to create original works due to be unveiled (and published) during the festival.
This year, the festival will include 13 workshops that explore a variety of topics related to writing and publishing fiction and non-fiction.
