Pecha Kucha

The first authentic Pecha Kucha evening drew a full house to the Arts Building last week to hear nine presenters comment and show 20 of their photos.

Gibsons, now the smallest PK location on the planet, joined numerous towns and cities around the globe in this creative idea. No boring vacation photos here: the subjects were protests, dancers, glass art, mom's garden, great kayaking locations and mouldy beets, among others. The presenters (myself included) were as diverse and creative as the show. Special thanks to Wendy Crumpler for making it happen.

Also at the Arts Building, Alan Sirulnikoff's photography show, On the Line, hangs in the Teeny Tiny Gallery and is available for viewing any time the building hosts an event.
