The Lighthouse Pub will be rocking with local hard rock band Sinmobile this Saturday night April 14 as the band launches its new CD.

Music starts at 9:30 p.m.

Sinmobile, featuring Irene Orallo, Mike Soper, Rick Raymond and Kody Raymond are ecstatic to be finally releasing an EP of their original tunes.

Sinmobile has been recording with Ray Fulber in his Roberts Creek studio StraitSound since last fall.

"I think people are going to be really surprised at how great these songs are," said Fulber. "This is legit rock and roll from the Sunshine Coast."

Fulber is not a stranger to alternative rock music. He's played and recorded with many alternative rock and punk bands in the past.

Now, living on the Coast most of his clients are jazz, folk and country musicians. Fulber said hedoesn'tget a chance to record rock music much and was excited to take on this project with Sinmobile.

Soper said he's very pleased with how the band sounds on the recording.

"Ray has taken our songs to another level. He's taken our signature heavy riff guitar sound and mixed the songs so you can hear Irene's vocals and lyrics," added Soper.

Sinmobile has been a big supporter of original music on the Coast. They've hosted many showcase nights with local and off-Coast rock bands in various local venues. The band is looking forward to the coming year with prospects of promoting their CD with live shows throughout the Coast, Lower Mainland and western Canada.

Look for Sinmobile's music at their live shows and at MeloMania, Lucky's BBQ,other local retailers and on-line atCD Baby.
