Rogue Arts Festival

Taking place at Shirley Macey Park, with the beautiful backdrop of the coastal mountains and forest ranges, Rogue Fest is a three-day, outdoor arts festival. Focusing on a broader definition of the word art, fostering social inclusion, promoting collaboration and interactivity, and just having one heck of a good time, the Rogue Arts Festival is gearing up for its inaugural year!

With over 90 musicians as part of the MainStage Series including collective sets featuring musicians playing together for the first time, human foosball, the Rogue Art Gallery, a workshop series, the Creation Station, where we’ll have professional artists doing demonstrations and workshops for your creative pleasure, interactive installations, local food, an on-site sing-along, the Libation Station featuring micro-brews and cider … well, let’s just say the Rogue Arts Festival has a bit of something for everyone.

Musical acts include roots, rock, reggae, funk and punk band Roots Roundup, Vaudevillian-jazz-gypsy-circus music influenced Blackberry Wood, authentic raga and multi-genre sitar performer Mohamed Assani, indie rock singer/songwriter-turned band Terence Jack, soul, funk and world beats group Warless, soulful world folk, funk, rock opera quartet Samson’s Delilah, banjo rockin’ Folky Strum Strum, seven-piece mood setting Pendomoja, prohibition reminiscing The Staggers and Jaggs, harmonizing traditional meets original The Blackwood Two, and pop punk lifers The Tarleks. Joining them are the Sunshine Coast’s own DreamOwl, Sarah Noni, The Daggers, The Funkdealer, and Butler in the Hey!
