For the last dozen years the Roberts Creek Hall has rocked in late June with the annual Sunshine Coast Pride Dance. Decorated with all things rainbow, music speakers positioned to call you out on to the dance floor, cold beverages to slake your thirst, friends you know and new people to meet, this is the dance of the year for all LGBTQ2 and allies.
Professionals suggest dancing is the best thing you can do for your body. It’s a whole-body workout that gets your blood moving, your mood up and your energy coursing. Who are we to argue against this kind of great fun and exercise?
So, write 8 p.m. on Saturday, June 23 in your calendar, get your dance shoes on and join us as we dance the night away. Celebrating queer liberation has never felt so good. The Pride Dance is the best party on the Coast!
