Visitors were lined up at the door to the Seaside Centre in Sechelt last Friday when this year’s annual Power of Paint exhibition opened.
The Eleven Equal Artists who put on a strong show of mostly new work were delighted to greet their fans and one commented that, in some cases, they had hung paintings only hours before the pieces were sold.
The collaborative work, small panels on the theme of birds, was popular, and money from the sale will be used to give art bursaries to students.
