The last in this series of four PechaKucha nights in Sechelt will be presented next Friday, May 23, at the Sunshine Coast Arts Centre. Doors open at 7, show is at 8 p.m. Admission is $10 at the door.
The last two events in this series of visual vignettes with a brief commentary have been sold out. As usual, the 10 presenters cover a wide range of topics with their 20 images with 20 seconds per image to tell their story and make their point. The images are automatically projected and wait for no one.

The “20 x 20” concept was started by a group of Japanese architects in 2003 and has now spread to 720 cities and towns around the globe. According to the PKN organization, an image from the last Sechelt PKN may well appear in the opening sequence. These events are organized and presented by artists Anna Banana and Paul Clancy and the Sunshine Coast Arts Council.
