Everyone is invited to the Oscars Eve Party, Saturday, Feb. 25, at Trail Bay Mall. The gala evening begins at 7:30 p.m. with complimentary bubbly, savoury appetizers and B.C. wine tasting.
The party has a ‘50s vibe. Emcees Marilyn Monroe and Bob Hope, played by Jena Eros and Matt Morris, will be on the red carpet for photo opportunities with guests. And Munroe will give an Oscar winning performance singing a few classic songs.
The nationally-renowned show band March Hare will perform a variety show, Thru the Decades, a ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s tribute. Music starts at 8:30 p.m.
Guests could win big, with lots of door prizes and a raffle for a voucher to travel WestJet, worth up to $3,000 value to the lucky winner.
The event is hosted by Sechelt Rotary; their goal this year is to sell 300 tickets to give $10,000 in proceeds to Arrowhead Clubhouse and Legacy Housing. The Rotary Club thanks their community sponsors and supporters.
