Where else but on the Coast can you enjoy a garage sale and a concert at the same time?

This Saturday, March 10, the Sunshine Coast Community Orchestra holds its annual fundraiser, The Huge Garage Sale. Doors open at 10 a.m. at the Roberts Creek Elementary School gym.

After browsing the goods, patrons are invited to have coffee and to sit in on the open rehearsal of the Suncoast Concert Band. Those who have never done so will be most intrigued to hear how an ensemble is rehearsed, particularly under the able direction of well-known director Janice Brunson.

New players are very welcome. Dust off your clarinet or tuba and come on out.
