Musica Intima comes to Madeira Park

Art Beat

Eight singers standing in a half circle, facing each other and singing a cappella – this is Music Intima. Recognized as one of Canada’s truly important choirs, this B.C. group has an enviable international reputation for its sublime ensemble singing, made all the more impressive by the fact that they sing unaccompanied and without a conductor. Their honours include being one of only 24 international choirs invited to participate in the World Symposium on Choral Music. Join the Pender Harbour Music Society on Sunday, March 13 at 2 p.m. at the Pender Harbour School of Music, Madeira Park. Tickets are on sale now for $25 at Harbour Insurance, Sechelt Visitor Centre and online at penderharbourmusic.ca
