Mindil Beach returns to the Roberts Creek Legion next Saturday, Jan. 24 for a must-see night of rock, funk, blues and hip-hop.
Originally from the Sunshine Coast, the band continues to make great strides in an incredibly competitive industry. They recently played their first arena show, opening for the Sam Roberts Band in Victoria, and will be showcasing at Canadian Music Week in Toronto this spring.
Mindil Beach is hard at work on their third full-length album. The band has been praised for their diversity and this record promises to deliver just that.
“We’re playing with a lot of cool sounds, instruments and ideas in the studio,” said keyboardist Rod Campbell. “It’s important to allow yourself the freedom to experiment when you’re in there.”
Whether you’re a diehard Led Zeppelin fan, or you can’t stop listening to the new Taylor Swift, Mindil Beach has something for you. Advance tickets are recommended as their previous Sunshine Coast shows have sold out. Tickets are $10 for Legion members, $20 for guests with members, available at the Legion.
