An immersive Halloween

Gibsons performers and producers Varya Rubin and Bill Moysey are creating something special for this trick-or-treat season. “Halloween 2020: An immersive outdoor experience” will take place over three evenings at Gibsons Heritage Farm on Henry Road, featuring a mix of professional and youth players in physically distanced performances, with audiences guided through the five-acre property. “Picture eerie atmospheric stuff, fire spinners, moments from Phantom of the Opera and Rocky Horror Picture Show, the Witches’ scenes from Macbeth (around a real bonfire!), and other awesome stuff.” And there will be candy stations for the kids. It’s an all-weather show so waterproof outerwear is recommended, and masks – the pandemic-prevention kind – will be mandatory. Performances Thursday, Oct. 29, Friday the 30th and Saturday the 31st, at 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Suitable for kids aged 8 and older. Details and ticket info at [email protected].
