First it was Tina Turner (Luisa Marshall) and now Bobby Bruce as Neil Diamond is about to hit the stage at the Sechelt Legion next Saturday, Feb. 14.
The Sechelt Legion has found a nice fit for entertainment by getting world-class tribute shows to perform. Some Legions are having a hard time surviving and the tribute acts are what they needed.
Marshall as Tina Turner sold out a few months ago and it looks like it will be the same for Bruce, and in March when there will be a Voices of Legends show.
Bruce was born in Port Coquitlam. His incomparable talent for impersonating Diamond was finally realized there in 1994. He has never looked back. He has played with some of the biggest shows in the business including a 10-month tour of the U.S. with Las Vegas-based Legends in Concert, and two tours of Australia with Legends of Rock. He has performed at some of the best venues, selling out Vancouver’s Commodore Ballroom and on board several luxury liners at sea in the South Pacific.
Bruce lives on Gambier Island.
