Blues sensation Arsen Shomakhov provides the hard drivin' rock 'n' roll to keep you dancing all night.

Arsen, virtuoso blues guitarist/singer/songwriter, burst onto the music scene in 2000 in his native Russia and quickly became an international star winning accolades worldwide. In 2007 he was named best emerging artist after performing at the Arkansas Blues and Heritage Festival.

In 2010 he was nominated for the new artist of the year by Maple Blues Awards. Arsen, who has played blues festivals all over North America, wowed audiences at the recent Pender Harbour Blues Festival.

With high energy and a great stage presence, Arsen will be kickin' it at the Pender Harbour Com-munity Hall. Doors open at 8, music starts at 8:30 p.m.

The Halloween Dance is a fundraiser for the 2012 Pender Harbour Blues Festival.

Cash prizes will be awarded for best costumes.

Tickets are $25, available at the Garden Bay Pub, Copper Sky, Strait Music and Gaia's Fair Trade.
