Graham Walker, well-known children's entertainer from Gibsons, is looking forward to meeting lots of new and old friends at his upcoming concert at Pender Harbour School of Music.

The concert is next Saturday, March 19, at 11 a.m. Tickets are $5 for adults and $2 for children.

The theme of this show is Friends and, as Walker likes to say, "Friends are better than crocodiles!"

Walker is bringing along his friend Steve Quattrocchi, (also known as Steve Q) who will be joining in on guitar, mandolin, harmonica and assorted bells and whistles. There will lots of favourite songs from Graham's three CDs, plus some new ones. Bring along a pal or a teddy bear, wear your hopping socks, and get ready to sing like a cat and jump like a frog!

Walker has performed all over Canada and creates a marvellously silly world of imagination and joy. He has numerous CDs to his credit, is a prolific writer of children's songs and books and has recently made a video. Whether it's at children's festivals in Kamloops and Victoria or at concerts on Saltspring Island or in Toronto, his audiences, both kids and adults, always walk away from his performances with smiles on their faces.

Tickets are available at John Henry's in Garden Bay, Harbour Insurance in Madeira Park, Talewind Books and Magic Sound in Sechelt and Coast Books in Gibsons, as well as at the door. For more information, call 604-883-2403.
