The Driftwood Players performed, sang, acted a preview scene from their next production Blithe Spirit and gave a fashion show of recycled clothes made from materials you might find at a supermarket.
In between the imaginative performances they managed to squeeze in an annual general meeting.
The formal procedure didn’t stop the fun – Joanne Bennison gave her report on the Driftwood Theatre School dressed as Humpty Dumpty. “It’s really not as comfortable as it looks,” said Ms. Dumpty.
Pictured are fashion originals made of recyclables (the boys look fabulous in bubble wrap) from designs by Linda McTurk in the “Trashion” show.
