The Young People's Art Show, Elementary Schools, is a must see in the Doris Crowston Gallery at the Sunshine Coast Arts Centre in Sechelt.
Almost 500 pieces of art hung with 1,556 tacks took six volunteers 10 hours to put on the gallery walls. It's an exhibit full of creativity and wonder.
Gibsons Elementary exhibits bright masks with diverse decor and Egyptian kings and queens.
Roberts Creek Elem-entary brought boats, flowers and pictures in the rain.
Cedar Grove highlights bugs, pumpkins and unique trees with jigsaw pieces.

Sun Haven Waldorf School has examples of knitting, a creative book, and water colour painting.
Gibsons Christian School showcases work done with colourful yarn, while the SPIDER home school program shares well-known stories in their three-dimensional story boxes.
